Adding Plugins to Packages in Genie 4.0

Genie 4.0

In Genie 4.0, adding package plugins works a bit differently than what you might be used to in Genie Classic. Instead of adding a package plugin directly to your template, you’ll now apply it to the package itself.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to your Dubsado template and find the package you want to edit (the open box icon).
  2. Click the edit button (the pencil icon).
  3. In the edit panel, select your desired package plugin from the dropdown.

This new approach makes adding plugins to your packages a breeze! Plus, you'll now get a real-time preview of how the plugin looks on each specific package.

Copying Plugin Styles to Other Packages

If you want to apply the same plugin styles to a different package:

  1. Finish styling your first package until you're happy with it.
  2. Open the next package's edit panel.
  3. Under Choose package plugin type, select the same plugin you used for the first package.
  4. Click Copy package style from, then select the original package. This will copy over the exact plugin styling from your first package.

Pro tip: Update the name of your package plugin to differentiate it from others.
